encourages a culture of high-performance
that drives results from the top down

What Is the CheckPoint 360° Survey?

The CheckPoint 360° survey combinesfeedback from direct reports, peers, supervisors, and even others who work with your leaders to help leaders and managers improve their performance and deliver on strategic goals.

Survey results highlight a manager’s performance across eight management competencies: communication, leadership, adaptability, task management, relationships, production, development of others, and personal development. • Improve job performance by using multiple points of feedback
  • Boost employee morale, productivity, and satisfaction
  • Improve management training and skills development
  • Identify talent gaps and develop critical skills

How Does CheckPoint 360° Work?

At the start of the process, managers and leaders complete an online self-evaluation to gain a full understanding of their leadership capabilities across eight key Management and Leadership Competencies and 18 key Skill Sets. People who have close interaction with the manager or leader (such as directly reporting employees, peers, supervisors, and even others who work with your leaders) also provide feedback. Through an easy-tointerpret set of reports, both the individual being assessed and their supervisors receive data that can guide the improvement of leadership and management skills.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a 360 Feedback assessment?

A 360 Feedback assessment is a structured development tool that collects feedback about an individual’s workplace behaviors, competencies, and leadership effectiveness from multiple perspectives, such as managers, peers, direct reports, and sometimes clients. It helps individuals understand their strengths and identify areas for professional development.

Checkpoint 360 is a leadership development assessment designed to provide comprehensive feedback on an individual’s management and leadership effectiveness. It gathers perspectives from different workplace relationships and compares them with the individual’s self-assessment to highlight strengths, potential gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Checkpoint 360 Feedback typically involves an individual completing a self-assessment while selected raters provide feedback based on their experience working with that person. The results are compiled into a report that helps identify patterns in leadership behaviors, areas of agreement or difference between self and others, and key development priorities.

A 360 Feedback assessment can help leaders and managers gain a broader understanding of how their behaviors are perceived by others. It can support self-awareness, strengthen communication, identify leadership development needs, and provide actionable insights for creating targeted professional development goals.

Organizations can use Checkpoint 360 Feedback results as part of leadership development, coaching, succession planning, management training, and individual development programs. The results can help leaders create focused development plans and track progress over time, while organizations can use aggregated insights to identify broader leadership development needs.
